Twenty-seven teachers of Simen Elementary School attended environmental education courses, offered by Feitsui Reservoir’s Environmental Learning Center, on Jan. 2, 2013 (Wednesday). The eco-education courses began with a presentation on “The Beauty of Feitsui”, followed by lectures on “How Feitsui Reservoir co-exists with the environment – an experience with Rhododendron kanehirai Wilson and Emerald Green Tree Frogs.” By participating in these well-designed courses and experiencing the natural beauty of the reservoir, the teachers of Simen Elementary School were able to have a clear picture of the eco-education given by Feitsui Environmental Learning Center.
