Dangerous Area around the Northern and Southern River Convergence

On August 24th, 2011 Taipei Feitsui Reservoir Administration announced that in order to avoid potential accidents, due to summer storms causing water level to rise rapidly along the northern and southern river convergence, New Taipei City has set rules effecting immediately prohibiting the public from engaging in any water recreation activities within these areas.

Warning signs have been in place to notified the public about the dangerous within these water areas and any violators will be subject to fines ranges from NT$5,000 up to NT$75,000.

To safeguard lives and public properties, please do not engaging in any types of water recreation activities within these areas, Taipei Feitsui Reservoir Administration will cooperate with relevant units to strengthen patrols.
