Year of 2025 'Greater Taipei Water Source Homeland Tour Event' Date Announcement

The 'Greater Taipei Water Source Homeland Tour Event', highly popular among the public, is set to meet you in the colorful spring. Taipei Feitsui Reservoir Administration invites those who are concerned with water resource conservation and natural ecology issues to explore the water source homeland of Greater Taipei - Feitsui Reservoir.

This event starts with enjoying presentations or multimedia videos, followed by experiencing environmental education facilities at the Water Resource Hall. Then, professional volunteers will provide guided tours and lead the participants to hike to the dam, allowing them to experience the rich water resources and ecological environment of Feitsui Reservoir. Welcome friends who are interested in the activity to sign up for the event.

Drinking water and Remembering its Source

Over 100 people enthusiastically participated in the third session of “Greater Taipei Water Source Hometown Tour” this year. The activity was held on June 13,2025， with more than 100 parents and children signing up to participate. The environmental education volunteers in our bureau guided the tour. After the tour,most participants have further understanding about the preciousness of the water resources and ecological environment of Feicui Reservoir.

The Taipei Feicui Reservoir Administration (hereinafter referred to as the Bureau) this (112) year's first echelon water source hometown tour was successfully concluded at 12:00 noon on March 4th.

Pilgrimage of Hometown of Taipei Tap Water Closed Successfully

Feitsui Reservoir’s Pilgrimage of Hometown of Taipei Tap Water tour of 2018 was completed on October 20th already.

we organized 12 tours and attracted 2,400 visitors last whole year ,the designed tours took hikers from the reservoir's eco-education center to the dam site, along the way a trained professional volunter l gave lecturers on the reservoir's abundant natural environment and the hydrological process. With more understanding about the importance of water conservation people will cherish water and the environment in their daily life.

Pilgrimage of Hometown of Taipei Tap Water Closed Successfully

Feitsui Reservoir’s Pilgrimage of Hometown of Taipei Tap Water tour of 2014 was completed on December 21th. We have organized 13 tours and attracted 2,044 visitors last year. The designed tours took hikers from the reservoir's eco-education center to the dam site. Along the way, a trained volunteer made commentary on the reservoir's abundant natural resources and the hydrological process. With more understanding about the importance of water conservation, people will cherish water and the environment more in their daily life.

Feitsui Reservoir Ecology Camp Winds Up Successfully

“Feitsui Reservoir Ecology Camp” underway on June 23 and 25, led by National Taiwan Normal University students and University of Taipei alumnus. The elementary school students observed floras and faunas plantations closely while enjoying a great outdoor summer vacation.

The Home of Taipei Water Festival will once again be open to public starting from October 12, 2013! It is expected to be held from October to December with a total of 3 groups (350 visitors per group). The October group is scheduled on October 12 (Saturday), the registration is expected to be open to public one week prior to the event. “Ecology camp of Feitsui reservoir (2011)” has been held on July 2 and 3. The camp was configured and led by the graduate students from National Taiwan Normal University and Taipei Municipal University of Education. The participants from the higher grades of the elementary school observed all kinds of floras and faunas within the reservoir, which is abundant in natural resource and enjoyed a great day in their summer vacation.
